By accessing and using this website and engaging with Your Web Guy for services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
Your Web Guy provides web development, design, and consulting services. We work with you to understand your business needs and deliver solutions tailored to your goals. Our services include but are not limited to: website development, design consultation, technical guidance, and ongoing support.
Project scope, deliverables, and timelines will be outlined in a separate project agreement or proposal.
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide timely feedback and decision-making on project milestones
- Supply all necessary content, materials, and information needed for the project
- Communicate clearly about requirements, changes, and concerns
- Respond to requests within reasonable timeframes to avoid delays
- Ensure you own or have proper rights to any content you provide
Delays caused by missing information or slow response times may affect project timelines and additional costs may apply.
Payment terms will be specified in your project agreement. Typically, we require a deposit before project commencement and remaining balance upon completion. Invoices are due within 30 days of receipt.
Payments may be late fees of 1.5% per month on outstanding balances. Work on a project may be paused if payment is not received according to the agreed schedule.
Refunds are available only for services not yet rendered. Once work has begun, payments are non-refundable.
Project timelines are estimates based on the scope outlined in your proposal. Actual timelines may vary based on several factors:
- Clarity and completeness of initial requirements
- Timeliness of client feedback and approvals
- Scope changes or additional requests
- Availability of client resources and information
- Technical complexity or unforeseen challenges
We will communicate any timeline adjustments as soon as they become apparent.
Upon full payment, you own all deliverables created specifically for your project, including custom designs, code, and content we produce. This ownership transfer is contingent on payment in full.
You retain all rights to content and materials you provide to us. We retain the right to use general methodologies, frameworks, and techniques developed during the project in future work, provided they don't include your specific business information.
Any third-party software, libraries, or tools used in your project remain governed by their original licenses and agreements.
We treat all client information and project details as confidential. We will not share your business information, strategies, or specific project details with third parties without your permission, except as required by law.
You may request that we not list your project in our portfolio or case studies. Otherwise, we may reference our work with you in general terms for marketing purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your Web Guy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the services.
Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice. If you terminate before completion, you are responsible for payment of all work completed to date plus any non-refundable expenses incurred.
Upon termination, we will provide you with all work completed to date. Any intellectual property rights transfer only occurs upon full payment.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
For active projects, existing terms will generally apply to completion, unless significant legal or operational changes require modification.
If you have questions about these terms or how we work, we're happy to discuss them. Clarity matters to us.
